Driving trough life

Driving is big part of my life. I have spent many days in car or in truck since I can remember. So this is probably the next logic topic from previous post about walking or walk. And today in the days before maybe the biggest oil crisis ever also quite actual. Driving is a big part of my life. I’ve spent many days in a car or truck for as long as I can remember. So this feels like the next logical topic after my previous post about walking. And today, with what might become one of the biggest oil crises ever, it feels especially relevant.

For me, driving is often more important than arriving at the destination. I don’t know exactly why, but I feel free when I’m on the road early in the morning, watching the sunrise and the landscape slowly change.

There’s something powerful about having a destination, a goal. You know how to get there, but you don’t know exactly what the road will be like. Driving gives me a sense of control. You can do everything right 99% of the time, but one small mistake can lead to catastrophe.

It’s interesting how, when we sit in a car, we don’t think about the worst-case scenario or a catastrophic accident. We just start driving, with a clear goal in mind. We know what moves us forward. So why are we different when it comes to other things in life? Is it because we don’t understand the process, or because we’re unsure which road to take?

It would be exciting to go through life the same way we drive toward a destination. With a clear goal, and a genuine love for the journey. And when you reach that goal, you simply choose another one and keep going.

Maybe the problem isn’t that life is unclear. Maybe it’s that we don’t trust ourselves to drive through it the way we already do on the road.

Stay awesome!
