Action action action
If you are at some kind of turning point in your life, you have probably come across books or YouTube videos that talk about manifestation. It feels easy and calming, and sometimes even motivating, to read or watch this kind of content. Most of them say that if you imagine something really, really strongly, you will get it. But is this really enough? Of course it is not.
Wishing and clearly imagining a goal definitely helps. But we live in a world where physics still applies. Newton’s third law cannot propel itself. We need action to create reaction. We need action to get results.
I can tell you from my own experience that simply reading books or watching YouTube videos creates only a small reaction. Sometimes I even fall asleep.
Taking action, however, can feel frightening. It can make us forget about our goals, or make them feel out of reach. But in reality, it is like stepping into cold water. At first, we hesitate. We do not want to get wet. But once we take the first step, it already starts to feel better.
Even the tiniest action can move us closer to what we want. It is always about the first step, the first cut, the first word, the first line.
From there, things become easier. And we feel happy when we finally see the results of our work.
